How Babies Teeth Erupt:

  • The bottom teeth come first between 6-9 months age, starting with one front tooth in the lower jaw.
  • The frontal second tooth in the lower jaw shows up shortly thereafter.

  • One month later at about 8-12 months age, usually the two front teeth in the upper jaw come at the same time.

  • Soon two anterior front teeth in upper jaw erupt at about 12-16 months age almost at the same time.
  • Then two anterior front teeth in the lower jaw erupt around 16-20 months age.
